DiviEstate is Getting a Big Upgrade!

Recently, Elegant Themes has introduced a long-awaited update to Divi: support for custom post types. You can find more information on this update here:Â Introducing Divi Builder Custom Post Type Support!
Our DiviEstate child theme for real estate websites is largely based on the Custom Post Type feature and the recent Divi update had a heavy impact on all single property pages and single agent pages layouts in the theme. The new version of Divi includes a new CPT file with CSS code, so we had to rebuild all custom post pages templates to make it work. Our development team has quickly addressed and eliminated all issues, and DiviEstate is now compatible with the latest Divi version 3.10.2.
We’ve also included some new features in the update!
New Searching Option
We know the searching feature wasn’t ideal – so we decided to provide an additional option.  Previously, DiviEstate searched all addresses available in Google, not just the addresses of properties. Now you can select another option: Database Searching. What does it mean? If a user types in the address of an area they want to search for available properties, the searching module will only suggest addresses that are added to your database!
Map Clustering
One of the most anticipated features is Map Clustering. It makes reading the map faster and more user-friendly.
Usually, when there are more than one property in close proximity, they will overlap. It makes the map chaotic and difficult to read. Map Clustering allows to cluster all properties in a neighborhood under one marker – and only as you zoom in will the markers divide to their respective properties. You can control the radius of the area to be clustered.
Featured Image Gallery Slider
This is another feature our DiviEstate users have especially requested. Now, when viewing a property page, clicking on the main property photo will open a gallery slider. You can take a look at this new feature here: https://diviestate.b3multimedia.ie/properties/wood-villa/.
And some more handy features…
Now, you can use decimal values to indicate the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. In some countries, for example the US, the real estate market distinguishes between full bathrooms and partial bathrooms. For example, a 1/2 bath will contain only a toilet and a sink. This new DiviEstate feature will help you provide your clients with more accurate information in a neat way.
As for other improvements we have made: the Property Slider Widget now allows you to display only a certain type of properties, for example only properties for rent.
